Anedot is the online fundraising platform used by political campaigns, churches, ministries, and non-profits to securely accept donations. We do not maintain a mailing, email, or texting list or send out communications for customers. Our software does not include the capability to send outbound marketing messages via mail, email, or text.
We understand that receiving unwanted messages or communications can be frustrating, and our team is here to help. Anedot believes in privacy, and while we can't control how organizations choose to manage their communications outside of our platform, we do have a few tips to help you get in touch with the organizations to have your information removed.
Tips:
Check for an "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of emails. This may be highlighted or match the same text format.
If contact information for an organization is not clearly visible on their website, you can typically find contact information by clicking the 'Privacy Policy' tab at the bottom of the page.
If you do not see a way to contact an organization via their website, check out their social media buttons. Social profiles typically have a built-in message system and/or additional forms of contact for the organization.
Typically, responding “STOP” should stop auto texts.
